We are looking for someone to come to my mothers home and spend time with her from 6:30 am or 7:00 am till approx 1pm each day. Depending on her health and coping abilities, the time required for help could increase to a full time position. Her and her husband live 5 minutes outside of fort St. John - in the Fish Creek area on an acreage. My mom is recently diagnosed with dementia and a heart condition that may require surgery. She is a independent, spunky lady that enjoys gardening, painting and going for walks. The number one priority of the care giver would be to spend time with her and incorporate light household duties, gardening, meal prep into the time spent with her. Having a drivers licence would be ideal due to their location and the ability to take her out and about.

I am a 50 year old male with Friedreich’s Ataxia and am in a wheelchair looking for a full-time live-in caregiver to assist me when needed with my daily routines. Duties include assisting with transfers and personal care, meals, accompanying me to appointments and housekeeping.
