The role also involves general household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, vacuuming, and meal preparation. On-hand assistance provided to manage resistant behaviors like diaper changes and dressing. Flexible working hours, approximately 20-30 hours per week, primarily starting around 9:30 AM and spanning three hours, with potential for longer periods some days. Care mostly needed Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday mornings, middays, evenings; Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, and mid-days. Specific timings can be arranged to suit both parties. No driver's license or automobile use required. Immediate start preferable. Seeking someone patient, compassionate, respectful of my mother's dignity and values. I need a overnight caregiver for my 98 year father during night time. He is very independent, he needs someone to stay with him in case he needs help or in case of emergency. Someone who can also prepare his meals and give him bath and housekeeping. I am going out of town for a week. My dad is on pension income and would prefer someone who would be willing to negotiate the rate. I might have someone for a week during the daytime also if the rate is reasonable. If everything goes well I might need full time nanny in the near future since I am senior also and need extra help for myself also.

Family is looking to hire a part time caregiver to provide in home care to a woman in her 30s who has Cerebral Palsy. The client is able to direct her own care and needs assistance with all aspects of personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and some companionship is always nice too! She is in a wheelchair, is of average build and is an easy pivot transfer. A driver's license is essential as the client currently has volunteer commitments and would be driven there in her wheelchair accessible van. Occasional accompaniment to appointments and outings could also occur. An orientation to the vehicle is provided. For those with allergies, there are 2 cats in the house and occasional dog visitors:) Required please; Current CPR/1st Aide (or willing to obtain) Proof of vaccination Some relevant experience but client specific training is also provided Hours -Tuesdays and Thursday 7:15AM-3PM -Every other Saturday Morning for 2 to 3 hours-The start time is flexible and you can choose your start time anywhere from 7AM till 10AM and just 2 to 3 hours is needed. Although I possess complete sensation, I need support with transfers, dressing, bathing, and toilet needs, in addition to tube feeding. I'm sociable along with having a keen interest in politics, video gaming, and lively discussions on a broad range of topics. As the live-in caregiver over weekends, you will help by ensuring his regular transfers, assisting with grooming and dressing, and managing the tube feeding. You will also be responsible for some light housekeeping tasks, mostly laundry and ensuring my comfortability and positioning. The ability to deal effectively with Quad/Paraplegic Care is essential, along with proficiency in using a Hoyer Lift. While I realize the commitment this entails, I can currently offer a monthly stipend of approximately $1200, with the potential for negotiation as additional funding becomes available, which I am fervently working towards. The work schedule will encompass mornings, middays, evenings, and nights from Monday to Friday, amounting to around 30-40 hours per week. It essentially involves both physical assistance and emotional support, creating a safe, comforting space for my loved one. Job responsibilities span from personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting assistance, dressing and grooming, to mobility-related tasks including range of motion exercises, helping with walking and escorting to appointments. Household chores are part of the responsibilities, which involve housekeeping, laundry, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning. The caregiver will also be expected to manage grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, and errand running, uplifting our loved one's daily life by planning visits, outings, and trips to visit neighbors, friends, or family. As the role does not require any automobile use, owning a driver's license is not necessary. The perfect candidate must be comfortable with or have previous experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and managing incontinence. Having extensive knowledge or experience dealing with arthritis is also a significant advantage. The ideal caregiver for us would be someone patient, understanding, and empathic, capable of becoming a pillar of support not only for our loved one but also for the entire family during this challenging time.
