Hi there, My name is Cassidy. I am a 25 year old soon to be graduating university student. I am currently completing my undergraduate degree in Sociology remotely with the University of Calgary. While doing so, I am also working on completing my early childhood education certification. I am recently new to North Vancouver, I moved here in September of 2023 and have been slowly adjusting to the new city. Previous to living in Vancouver, I grew up just outside Calgary, Alberta for most of my life until University. Although schoolwork takes up a lot of my time, I do still try to engage in some of my hobbies. I enjoy going for hikes and exploring the city, am a lover of movies and reality TV, as well as I am a huge fan of hockey, but my favourite hobby or pass time is cooking! Ultimately, I am a very easy going and personable individual who loves to help and care for others. I am hoping to step foot into housekeeping as a way to make build some income as a struggling student. I do not have any direct housekeeping experience, however my previous roles in salons and child care I believe have made me suitable for such. In the small business salon which I worked at, I was to open and close the salon independently every shift, ultimately leaving me in charge of all the cleaning and housekeeping work needed. As with a salon, cleanliness and an orderly space is necessary. As well, in my experience of working with children, cleanliness is a huge factor. This is in terms of cleaning surfaces, cleaning up after children, cleaning up after meal times and general tidiness and sanitary procedures being completed.
