Greetings. I am a private homeowner seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly organized Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in my home. This position is full-time with a preferred start date of 18.03.2024. This job will require you to work from Monday to Saturday, primarily in the mornings. A shift will comprise 30 to 40 hours per week. You will not need a driver's license for this role as I will provide an automobile for you to complete the household errands exclusive to your function. Your primary responsibilities will include a variety of housekeeping tasks. These will range from cleaning the inside of the home and immediate external areas to kitchen duties like washing dishes, sterilizing cupboards, and maintaining the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. You'll also be charged with cleaning the outside of the oven, the fridge, and the dishwasher. Furthermore, you'll be tasked with grocery shopping, managing household supplies, receiving and serving guests, overseeing garden and houseplant care, and pet care. On occasion, I may require you to supervise tradesmen or contractors working in my home. Another aspect of the job will involve managing household finances, like paying bills. You'll also be involved in travel arrangements on my behalf, ensuring household security, hiring and supervising other household staff members, and planning or directing special events. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) in Chestermere who are looking for an exceptional professional to take over some of our daily household activities. The ideal candidate may be a professional chef looking for regular clients, professional cleaner looking to expand duties for a regular client, or someone who simply has demonstrated household management skills and wants to work with us. We currently have a regular cleaning service so your skills could complement or replace them (with more duties than just cleaning!). In short, we’re tired and need help! Responsibilities (negotiable): 1) Cleaning - full surface clean of a 3 level home @ 1100sq ft per level bi weekly - Tidying toys etc as needed - laundry weekly 2) Cooking - 2-3 dinners/week - meal planning for a household that includes 2 children with selective tastes. Meals typically need to be deconstructed to allow all members of the family to choose what they want on their plate. - no allergies - intentionally exposing family to varied foods and flavours ( tricky when factoring in the selective eating!) - cooking and cleanup - grocery shopping is not required… but we might be willing to pay for your time to shop for us weekly - you’re definitely welcome to eat with us at your preference! - we will be responsible for the costs of ingredients and will offer you a rough budget to use for meal planning 3) Household management - If you are a professionally experienced household manager, we would like to talk to you about other duties such as managing bills and emails, scheduling appointments and maintenance, coordinating calendars, etc. - if you’re interested in being paid to mow lawns, shovel, garden, detail vehicles, etc, we may be willing to pay for your time to do so! What we aren’t looking for: - a nanny - pickup/drop off of kids - a tutor - full time work Pay: Pay negotiable. I am in need of a devoted and reliable Housekeeper to assist in maintaining a clean and well-arranged home. The start date for this position would ideally be the 7th of November, 2023. The prospective housekeeper would be expected to work for around 20-30 hours a week. The work schedule is flexible within Monday to Sunday.
