We're both IT professionals currently working from home. We're in search of a nurturing nanny to care for our delightful daughter, Meenakshi, who is 5 months old. I will be returning from maternity leave in May and we have been unable to get our kids into daycare so we are looking for a full-time or part-time nanny for our son who is currently 2.5 years old and our Daughter who will be 1 year in May. We'd like for you to come watch them in our home in Whitby (Taunton and Cochrane) from ~9am to at least 3pm. Ideally, the our Nanny should should have experience with infants / toddlers doing the normal things like changing diapers, playing, spending time with them, being caring and considerate and helping them eat etc... Ideally we'd love to have someone who is CPR trained, is energetic and patient.

Our son is 3 years old and has autism. He is currently full time in daycare, but we may start to bring him home in the afternoons eventually so he can transition into school easier in September. For now maybe 1-2 days a week, and once in the weekend. Later in September, it would be 5 days a week (afterschool). He loves to run outside, reading books, playing with lego blocks and magnets. He is still in diapers, and mostly non-verbal (only a few words). He is very shy, so we're looking for somebody with a bubbly personality but doesn't talk very loud.

I'm on the lookout for a part-time nanny who would be available mostly after school and early evening to take care of my son who is 5, and is approaching 6 years old. He is a non-verbal autistic child with a very cheerful and charming personality. He communicates some of his needs using an AAC device, while for others, he uses gestures. He does not elope or show any signs of aggression or self-harming tendencies. My son has a great sense of humor and he adores being tickled. His laughter is infectious, and his sweet nature will surely warm your heart. The much-preferred start date for this position is 09th April 2024, and the role involves a Monday to Friday work schedule - primarily during the mid-day to early evening hours. The nanny is required to both live-out and have a valid driver's license. This role consists of light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation for my son, transportation of the child, and maintaining the kitchen in an orderly manner. The expected working hours lie within the bracket of 20-30 hours per week. I'm on the hunt for a caring individual who is comfortable caring for an autistic child of the age bracket 6 -9years old, who can provide the support he needs. 4 days per week part time-Fridays to Mondays 1-5 pm (or 2-6 pm). Will need until July/Aug 2024. Duties: feed child, change diaper and clothes for child as needed, clean and sterilize formula bottles, do child and family laundry, interact with and play with child using toys provided, monitor child during short sleep period (we do not want child to sleep for long periods in the afternoon). Do this with no need for parental involvement as parents need break.
