We warm up a bottle, go to his bedroom and feed him. He still requires some soothing before sleep so we stay with him until sleepy and put him down for his morning nap. He usually naps 1 1/2 - 2 hours. During this time we tidy up from breakfast and do our normal household chores.
11:00 - 2:00
After he wakes we usually have a small snack and then get outside for a big walk or head to the playground. He enjoys being out in his stroller. Another activity is to visit the Westside Family Place where there are other children and a huge selection of toys. At around 12 pm we feed him lunch, hang out until around 2 pm and we repeat the same nap routine.
4:00 - 5:00
Basically the nanny will be spending time playing, entertaining our son before we return home.
The work is very simple and our son is a very happy little man. As long as his needs are met, he is a dream to be with. He's very social and engaging and loves, loves music. If you're looking for an audience to practice singing to or playing an instrument for then you'll love our child.
Our main focus is keeping our child safe and we hope to find a nanny who is aware of her surroundings and offers safe, friendly and secure care for our child.

My husband and I get up at 6:30 - 7 a.m. get ourselves and our son up/dressed/fed. My husband typically takes the dog for a quick walk to do her business. My husband leaves for work by 8:30 a.m. and I would most likely leave around the same time.
We would need you to prepare our sons lunch and possibly breakfast (but not sure yet as this is all new to me and I guess we would have to work out how our mornings would work). We are vegetarian and of course would provide menu ideas or have meals prepared so you would just have to warm/serve them if you were not comfortable preparing them.
No cleaning/laundry/errands required, unless you wanted to. We would just like you and our son to tidy up any toys/activities/art projects afterwards or at the end of the day. We live in a small condo and so keeping things organized and tidy works best.
We don't really want him watching much TV, so we would love for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, reading, playing, teaching, taking him to park and activities at the local community centre.
We are just really looking for someone to focus their time and attention on our son and his needs. |
