She must have at least two naps of around 1.5 - 2 hours before 5pm, and goes outside to play at least twice a day. Naptimes are ideal for very light housework (dusting, vacuuming, some laundry), and then it's back to playing and teaching our daughter. Music is a big part of her life, and we would love a nanny who could expose our daughter to all kinds of musical styles during the day. The nanny's day would end when Mom or Dad get home from work, very rarely past 5.30pm. |

| A routine is key with twins. We wake up and do the first feed at 7am. The babies have some activiy time during the day and like to go for walks or even attend baby/mom programs in the area in between naps and more feeding.
At 6:40 we start bathtime, have another feed at 7pm, and by 7:45 pm the babies are in their crib for the night, though we are stil working on getting them to sleep for straight through between this feed, their 10pm and 3am feed too.
Although I am on leave from work for the year, I do need someone who is comfortable being alone with both babies at once as I plan to be out during various times throughout the day. Upon my return to work, it will be important for our nanny to be able to care for the twins alone on a daily basis. Normally, my husband gets home for about 6:30 pm and is very helpful. We tend to eat dinner as soon as we can once the babies are in bed.
During the day, some light cleaning needs to be done (sweeping, putting on the dishwasher, maybe picking up some groceries, laundry). Some help to prepare meals and even some cooking from time to time is expected as well.
