We are a happy family of four with children aged 1 and 3. Both parents work on weekdays while the kids attend school full time. Everyone typically returns home around 5:15 p.m. We live a very safe neighbourhood in Don Mills near Banbury Community Centre. The area is however a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. As we need help before and after school, we think a live-in nanny is best. We don’t need help weekends and, if you prefer, you are welcome to only do live-in on weekdays.

We are searching for a nurturing and fun-loving nanny. I have 4 happy children (8, 6, 4 and 1), 2 are in school full time, 1 is in school half day (full day in September) and the baby is at home. I am a stay at home mother, so you would hardly be with 4 children at once. A Spanish speaking nanny is ideal (but not required), as our children are currently learning that as their second language. I'm a stay at home mother, so you would be working alongside and supporting me. So watching 4 children at once would probably be rare. Schedule could be Mon & Wed 10-6, Tues & Thurs 10:30-5:30, Fri 9:30-4 (36.5 hours total), but hours can be flexible and change. We occasionally need some evenings and weekends too. Possibly sleeping over when necessary. I would need help cooking, light housekeeping, tidy up toys, feeding and playing with children. Teaching and reading. Putting children down for naps. Tasks would probably change on a daily basis depending on what is needed that day. Spanish speaking is an asset. Having a drivers license is an asset. Cleaning the whole house (broken up into areas throughout the week), keeping the kitchen tidy and helping with laundry, ironing uniforms etc. Preparing and cooking healthy dinners 3-5 a week, groceries are delivered to the house. Meal planning can be collaborative between you and mom. In the afternoon, sometimes picking kids up from school and driving to after-school activities, bringing them home, making sure they’re bathing and doing homework. Then serving dinner (depending on it parents are home yet or not). Additionally, the family needs someone who: Has their driver's license AND owns their own vehicle Fluent in English Is able to travel with the family on Vacation (PR or Citizenship), Especially for the month of August Can swim & is comfortable with swimming supervision (CPR is needed but can be paid for by family if not already obtained) Comfortable around pets Willing to work 11 hour days Competent with household duties and healthy cooking. I wish to hire a live-out nanny for a part-time position to assist in caring for three children (8, 8 and 12). The expected start date would be the 14th of May, 2024 and the role will entail less than 20 working hours per week. The required work schedule centers mainly at school pick-up (4pm) and into the early evening from Monday to Thursday. The primary duties for this position include light housekeeping and transporting children from school. A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. The family will provide a car for use on the job to make the task of transportation more manageable. We will be busier than normal for the next few weeks, and would like someone compassionate, patient, and reliable to take on some of the responsibilities. This includes picking them up from school (they are in SK) in Toronto, making after-school snacks and cooking dinner, doing their laundry once a week, and going grocery shopping when necessary (all expenses will be covered by me and my husband.) You will also need to get along with the other housekeeping staff we have employed.
