Hi there! We are a young family in Richmond BC currently seeking an experienced, responsible and mature nanny to join our family in looking after our two small children, aged 3 and 1. This is a live-out, part-time position with potential to grow to full time. We are offering an hourly wage of $25.00/hour to start. Applicants must: - Have experience working with children - Have valid CPR certification - Have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle - Be willing to provide an up to date criminal record check Duties would include: - Looking after children, entertaining, doing fun activities whether indoor or outdoor and ensuring their safety at all times - Light housekeeping (kitchen, dishes, messes that the kids make during the day...) - Preparing meals and snacks as needed for children The children would remain at home while in your care and would not leave the premise during your shift (no driving, no errands etc.) We are currently looking for help on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, this schedule is flexible and can easily be changed. Another part of the role is to take care of our family pet, a friendly cat. Pet-related tasks may include feeding, ensuring her water dish is full, or taking out a few moments from your schedule to play or interact with her. When it comes to transport, our family is able to provide a car for use on this job. Ideally, I am looking for a live-out nanny rather flexible with working hours which can range from 20-30 hours per week. This role is perfect for someone who can assure our home runs smoothly and efficiently, providing careful attention to our children, and incorporating our furry friend as well. Therefore, your primary care would most likely be for two children throughout the day. They must be comfortable around a farm environment and animals, as we have dogs, chickens, and more. Responsibilities include ensuring the kids are well-fed and entertained, along with tidying up after them. I prefer them to spend time outside in our backyard when the weather is sunny. Possessing a full driver's license would be preferred, as it may be necessary to assist with school pickups. A minimum commitment to three 8-hour days per week is required, with the potential for full time. We live in East Ladner.
