I’m a 31 year old man with a neuromuscular disorder looking to hire a support worker to assist me with caring for myself and my toddler. The position is available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7 AM until 3 PM. The rate of pay is $30 per hour Duties include: Getting my daughter ready for daycare (ensuring she is happy, regularly changed and fed) Driving my daughter to daycare **vehicle required** (car seat provided and wage top-up for gas) Assisting with meal preparation Assisting with household chores (doing dishes, cleaning) Assisting me with toileting, personal care and my morning routine (must be able to manually lift and transfer 80 lbs) This position is ideal for a student or anyone who is keen to help others. Prior childcare experience is a major asset. Having your own vehicle and a Class 5 drivers license is required. Must be comfortable with cats. Having a Covid-19 vaccination and a criminal record check is a condition of employment.
