My name is Melissa. I have a son who will be turning 3 in May and I am also expecting a new baby. I am looking for a nanny who can assist me during the weekdays, and potentially some evenings and weekends for overtime pay, with both children. To start, I am requiring help for 20 hours a week. If everything goes well, I may increase the hours to 30-40. Since I will be on maternity leave for 18 months, I will be at home for most of the days. However, I would appreciate the flexibility of being able to leave both my children under your care. My husband also works from home and will be available during the day. The ideal candidate for me is someone creative, nurturing, and physically fit. My son is energetic and eager to learn. I would like his days to be filled with different activities that promote his development and learning. He currently enjoys music, dance, playing with blocks, his dinosaurs, play dough and pretending play. However, I would really appreciate if his education could be further enriched with outdoor activities, arts and crafts, sports, and activities that enhance his language skills and fine motor skills. Preference will be given to a candidate with a background in early childhood education or education. We have a pet-free and smoke-free home. It is important for me to know that you also follow a smoke-free lifestyle. My toddler has severe allergies to nuts, eggs, and dairy. Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking would be ideal, as I'd like for you to prepare some meals for the children and the rest of the family. Furthermore, I'd like for you to possess a driving license and be capable of driving the children and myself to appointments or activities as they arise.
