Our family is looking for a compassionate, patient caregiver to help our family. We have 2 girls. One 14 and one 11 Our oldest daughter has special needs and if you know sign language that would be amazing! We are looking for someone long term if at all possible. Duties include: Being awesome. Being kind. Being patient. Laundry, Meal prep, tidy-up. Going for walks entertaining kids with educational and fun activities! Integrating into the community for community socialization and inclusion. Comfortable with personal care and special needs. Comfortable with pets? We have 2 retrievers! Planning in this house is key but flexibility and ability to go with he flow is also an amazing quality to have! We love the water, going to the beach and exploring. We are skiers/snowboarders too - if you know how to ski that is also a great asset in the future. You must have a drivers licence with a car to get to and from work. Support hours: combinations of mornings 6:30-9:30 (range) and after school 2-8pm 9 (range) Weekends full days 9-5 (range) Some occasional later nights for dates if possible! Qualifications:You do not need the following but they are an asset - If you have a background as a PSW, ECE, EA etc. CPR is a huge asset.
