I'm Courtney, a family in Medicine Hat, Alberta and I'm looking to hire a full-time live out nanny. The ideal candidate should be experienced with infants and primary school aged children (ages 9, 3, and 8 months as of today’s posting date). They will be 10, 3, and 12 months come start date. I work shift work, 2 days/2 nights, 4 off. The shifts rotate weekly so every week will be different days. I will need care all day for the two younger ones and only part of the day with my older child because he attends school. I will need overnight care for all three on my night shifts. The days rotate weekly due to it being 4 on/4 off (example: Wed/Thurs days, Fri/Sat nights and the next week it’ll be Thurs/Fri days, Sat/Sun nights). I work 7 am-7 pm days and 7 pm-7 am nights. I have to be at work for 6:30 am/pm. Sometimes my shifts run over depending if I’m on a late call (these are completely random and out of my control). I also work overtime shifts sometimes which are extra full 12 hour shifts, which could be other hours than 7-7, but these usually have a little bit of advanced notice. I am currently on maternity leave and will be returning to work mid-February 2024. That is when care will start. I'm open to candidates from all backgrounds. My expectations are that the nanny will be responsible for providing quality care for my children, very light housekeeping, meal prep, and have current CPR certification.
