I'm a single mom (Colombian and Canadian) to an adorable little boy, embarking on a search for a loving, flexible Nanny. This part-time role would ideally suit someone who can sometimes work during the week and on weekends for a few hours, based on my varying schedule. My little boy is between 1-2 years of age, so I would appreciate someone who is comfortable with changing diapers and taking care of a toddler. A passion for children, a trustworthy nature, and reliable individual is what I need. I’m also seeking someone who understands the importance of engaging young minds in creative play without screen-dependence - be it imaginative games, reading, or arts and crafts. A typical day would include trips to local amenities such as the park or library, as well as preparing simple and nutritious meals. Light housekeeping tasks associated with my child's care are part of the job responsibilities as well. You don't need a driver's license for this role, as use of an automobile isn't applicable. One important note, our household follows a zero screen-time rule for our little one. So, this position is particularly suited to someone innovative, who can think up engaging, fun activities without the involvement of screens. The preferred start date is the 20th of January, 2024. We specifically need help during the middle of the day, evening, and night on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Typically, the work would be less than 20 hours per week.
