Attention Nannies, our family of four from Nanaimo is earnestly seeking your assistance with caring for our two little ones. We are looking forward to a preferred starting date of 20th February 2024. Our two adorables, aged between 3-5 years and 6-9 years, are in need of care, love, and attention. Therefore, it is preferred that you are available for shift work from Monday to Sunday, covering mornings, mid-day daycare pickups and drop-offs, after school care, some evenings, and the odd nights. Each week, expect a working load of 20 to 30 hours. We have a sliding scale for rates between $25 and $30 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience. Having a driver's license is required for this position as you'll often need to transport the children, run errands, and do some grocery shopping. Plus, using your own automobile will be necessary on certain occasions. As our nanny, your responsibilities won't just revolve around the care of our children. We ask that the candidates be willing to discuss safety and safe contact with us as parents, and model safe contact and healthy boundaries with our children. We would love it if you could take up tasks such as preparing their snacks and meals, light housekeeping, helping us keep up with the children's and family laundry. Keeping the kitchen functional, and feeding the family pet are other aspects of the job. Above all, preparing meals for the children, transporting them while we work, and bathing and dressing them on time will be of absolute importance, thus your primary task. This position can either be Full-Time or Part-Time, whatever suits your schedule. Though the vacancy does not favour a live-in arrangement, we have room for any adjustments as may be required.
