My name is Tina, and my husband and I are the parents of an awesome 8 year old daughter who needs care during the summer months. We both work from home and are looking for a part time nanny to help our daughter stay entertained and active while we are working. The time we need care is flexible - we are hoping to have someone for four hours a day, and we are happy to work around an existing work schedule. We are looking for someone with a background in childcare (nannying, babysitting, working as a camp counsellor.) In terms of a personality fit, we need someone who is a confident leader, patient, and attentive. We would like someone who is comfortable taking our daughter on adventures, crafting, and doing a bit of learning as well. Our daughter is looking for someone who is playful, energetic, patient, and kind. Someone willing to help with light housekeeping would be an asset. CPR and First Aid training are essential, and you must be a competent swimmer (we love the water!). References will be requested. Salary of $20/hour but open to negotiation.
