I am returning to work early for a amazing job opportunity. I am excited and heartbroken... I am so sad to leave my baby. I am looking for someone who will be the next best thing when I am not there. My husband works from home and will be with our baby half of the day, but we need someone to be with her for 3 or 4 hours so that he can have time to work and study. He will be at home while the nanny is there :-) I practice attachment parenting. I wear my baby during the day in a wrap or a sling and she accompanies me in this way while I do some chores, go walking, etc. I follow the Montessori method with her: I let her explore the world at her own pace and rhythm providing her the space to do so safely. I believe my baby cries or whines to communicate her needs. There is no "crying it out" ever; not for nap times or any other reason. I would like the person caring for her to be with her we I am with her.
