Both parents are shift workers so hours will vary week to week. We are seeking someone who will provide attentive and responsible care for 1 child in a safe and nurturing environment - Engage child in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play - Prepare and serve meals and snacks for child, ensuring they receive proper nutrition - Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child, including tidying up toys and cleaning up after meals - Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any specific needs or preferences Experience - Previous experience caring for children ideal but not necessary - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities - Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents - Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and responsibly Skills: - Caregiving: Ability to provide nurturing care and ensure the well-being of child - Cooking: Proficiency in preparing meals and snacks for child - Education: Ability to engage child in educational activities that promote learning and development - Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a professional or personal capacity - Cleaning: Capability to maintain a clean and organized environment for the child Successful candidate will require criminal background/vulnerable sector check
