We are looking for a reliable and caring person to take on the full-time/part time role of a live-out babysitter for our sweet 4-year-old daughter. You would join our small family including pets in our home on 6th avenue for less than 20 hours per week. Given that our schedules change weekly, we need someone who is flexible and can cater to variants in the care schedule. There may be a week where we need a sitter for only 1 day, or there may be instances where we need a sitter for 4-5 days. However, prompt notice will be provided with a monthly schedule to ensure there is enough of a heads up. Your responsibilities would primarily revolve around our little girl. This includes preparing her meals, ensuring she is ready for the bus for junior kindergarten in the morning and caring for her for 1-2 hours after school. Additionally, light housekeeping and cooking are part of the job responsibilities. Being an animal-friendly household with dogs and cats, we would need you to be comfortable around big dogs. Although you won't need to generally drive our daughter anywhere, having a car is essential as you will need your own transportation to our apartment. The salary range is between $17-$20 an hour, varying based on your qualifications and experience. Our preferred start date would be 01.12.2023.
