We are looking for an energetic, caring and conscientious caregiver for our toddler. It is a part time position for 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Potentially more hours for the right person! Hours will be (with some flexibility and may change in September when preschool starts): Tuesdays 12-6 Wednesdays 9 to 5 Thursdays 12-6 Our toddler is 28 months, and he is a very happy, social and agreeable little guy. We are located in Southeast Vancouver. We are a family of three with two pet rabbits (no pet care required). Parents have a hybrid schedule, but their home office is on a separate floor. We are hoping to a find a long-term nanny who can be with us for a year or more Duties will include: Feeding breakfast, lunch and snacks Taking toddler to activities Engaging toddler in activities Putting toddler down for one nap a day (naps are usually 1.5 hours long) Pick up toddler from daycare on Tues/Thur, and bring him home for a nap In September, duties will also include picking toddler up from preschool (driving will be required). If you speak Cantonese, Mandarin, or Russian, that would be an added bonus! If the nanny is interested in more hours, meal prep/cooking/light housekeeping is also a possibility while toddler is at daycare/pre-school Requirements: 2 local references Criminal record check Fully vaxxed and boosted CPR and first aid certified Eligible to work in Canada Job includes: $20+ an hour (depending on experience) Paid sick and vacation time Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!
