My husband and I are professional singers. We have several contracts coming up this season at the Canadian Opera Company. We are looking for a regular babysitter for weekday evenings and weekend afternoons and evenings. There is one free day per week (not a fixed day), where we will not require babysitting. The time commitment would vary by week (20–40 hours, with most weeks approx. 30 hours.) We propose a weekly salary for the work. Shortened work weeks would not result in a reduction in pay. The work is in three blocks: September until early November, mid-January until mid-February, and mid-March until mid-May. We have two boys (8, 6) and a girl (3). The babysitter will take care of the children, and perform light housekeeping (kitchen) duties. Meals would most often be provided for the babysitter at no charge.
