We are looking for a primary childcare provider for our two children aged 1 and 4 years old. Location: Westmount, Qc, H3Z 2E3 Title: Child Care Provider Duties: • Supervise and care for our children at our residence • Prepare and serve meals for the household • Sterilize bottles, change diapers and prepare children for rest periods. • Do laundry for the household. • Clean, organize and maintain the house as needed and as instructed. • Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence. • Organize activities such as games and outings for our children Required Education/Experience: Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a caregiver Skills/ Qualifications: • Be reliable and punctual • Take initiative • Show good judgment • Have good intuition • Have excellent organizational skills Schedule for caregiver to be Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 11:30 am (15 min break) AND 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm (15 min break) / (40 hours per week) Language Requirement: Knowledge of English (oral) Employment conditions, salary and hours: 2-year temporary position with possibility of extension. Live-in option available at no additional cost Salary of $16.50 /hour for 40 hours per week.
