Hello! My name is Madelyn! I am an enthusiastic, caring, empathetic and active individual in pursuit of my Education degree as I am expected to graduate Brock University in June 2024 with a Bachelors in Arts (Honours) in Integrated Studies with a Minor in Educational Studies and Bachelor in Education. I am passionate about education and the overall development of the child as I believe each child has the ability to succeed when provided opportunities and the tools to do so! I am a leader, possess excellent communication skills, always prioritize developing interpersonal relationships and fostering trust with those I work with. I always maintain an open line of communication, am very flexible regarding hours, days and time and can ensure adequate care, safety and fun!

I have worked with children and cared for children and youth ages 4-15 in a variety of recreational settings such as Ski Snow Valley Barrie as a Ski Instructor in kids village and I have worked as a Camp Counsellor at Hardwood Ski & Bike. More recently, I am currently working as an Emergency Supply Educator for Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB), and during the past summer I worked in the position as On site Program Coordinator for the YMCA Day Camp of Wasaga Beach, ON where I programmed, implemented and facilitated a variety of activities both physical, active and passive to reach all camper needs and abilities.
