My name is Kyla and while I have earned a Master's degree, my role here in Edmonton for the past three years has been a Child caregiver. Having spent a considerable amount of time in this capacity, I am currently supplementing my educational background by pursuing a course in Early Childhood Education. This happened to be in the year 2016 until 2018, imparting knowledge to aspiring students in the College of Business Administration department at a University in the Philippines. On the personal front, I'm happily married and blessed with a beautiful daughter who will be turning 13 this month of October. With the experience of nurturing my child, along with my professional expertise, I am confident and excited about forging ahead in my childcare career. I have been working as a Child Caregiver under the program of Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) for 3 years (since Feb 2021) here in Edmonton and been handling a 3 years old girl (who is now 6years old and Grade 1) and a 1 year old boy (who is now 4years old- Pre K student). I usually send them and drive to school and fetch afterwards once their parents are working and I have a Class 5 driver's license. Sometimes I'm with them in their ballet class, Ice skating class or Piano class on weekends depends on the parents’ schedule.
