Hi there! My name is Cassie . I am a 23 year old female. I recently got married in July 2023 and live with my wonderful husband in SE Calgary. I am currently in my third year studying to achieve my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies at St. Mary's University. I am very driven and enthusiastic about learning, especially what the field of psychology entails! I enjoy being active outside and grew up playing sports such as volleyball, basketball, skiing and mountain biking. I love going to the mountains and hiking and camping with friends. I have lived in Calgary my whole life and was born and raised here. I love this city! I also enjoy music and singing as well! I volunteer at my local church once a month with the youth group (SunWest Christian Fellowship). I also love animals - especially dogs and I had a family dog growing up. I currently work as a server at a restaurant part-time and have been there for the past 3 years. This job has strengthened my interpersonal skills and has enabled me to communicate and socialize with people personally and efficiently. It has also increased my cleaning, multitasking and organizational skills. I also recently started a job as a behavioural aide for children with developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, GDD, and more. I work with a 4-year-old client with ASD part-time with this job as well. I have had a lot of volunteer experience working with kids at camps/sports camps and I did babysitting growing up. I recently completed a VSS police check, and have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle. I have proof of COVID-19 vaccination as well and would happily get certified in CPR first aid training if required. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

4+ years of sporadic experience aside from the job I currently have. I work for an organization called Hispir Care as a behavioural aide that contracts me out to clients (children with developmental disabilities - i.e. autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, GDD etc.) I currently work with a 4-year-old child with autism spectrum disorder. I have also had experience volunteering at kid's camps/kids sports camps, babysitting, and other volunteering positions. I am currently studying to achieve my undergrad degree in psychology.
