​I have been a daycare director for four years. Running my own business as a  day- home for over 20 years as in the role of management, teacher, cook.   Have 5 years as a daycare teacher. I have Level 3, Valid First Aid Certificate  and a recent criminal record check with a clear vulnerable sector search.   

I have over 30 years experience in the childcare field as a nanny, operating my own day-home and worked in daycare as a teacher with all ages my duties included to provide a program and planning to meet children’s physical, social, intellectual, creative and emotional needs.. Ensure that children are supervised at all times and ensure that discipline is positively guided and have a good communicate with  parents if any issue rises and come up with a solution. plan out children's level of learning and discussing with parents about their children’s learning needs and  progress . Designing food menu under the Canada food guide and ensured that  sufficient quantities of food had been provided to every child and ensure that diapering policy is being followed.. clean and encourage children to clean up mess and be a role model when eating at the. Ensure proper hygienic, health, and safety procedures and all. interactions (child/activity, child/child, child/adult) are valued  as learning opportunities.. provide the environments offer a rich variety of spaces, material  and activities organized to promote children's active exploration and support individual creativity and diversity. Ensure that children spend the majority of their day involved in a  variety of activities as in art, block  building, dramatic play, music, sorting and matching games, listening to  stories, movement activities, science activity
