As a childcare provider, I have found a natural sense of belonging. Nurturing was a piece of my personality before I could define and properly use the word. I can place confidence in my morals that kindness, remaining gentle and empathetic are important aspects to everyday life. Though experienced, I carry a strong desire and dedication to explore and learn the areas of childcare development I'm not yet knowledgeable in. I strive to provide a safe, healthy, happy and creative outlet for children to be themselves while also having the energy to keep up with them. I love getting kids outdoors, doing crafts, creative play & stimulating their brains and senses, along with fine and gross motor skills. I also find educational play to have importance, balance is a good foundation for a child to learn on. While being fun & in the moment, I will always stress the importance of safety & courteous interactions. I am patient and open-minded, I recognize the importance of independence and being comfortable in myself in a space where children are learning to do so. I am able to remain attentive, organized & compassionate with ease in any situation. I believe showcasing optimism, problem solving, understanding of people's differences and situations, fairness, silliness even are essential to expose children to. Sincerity, sensitivity and self awareness are held to a high standard. In saying all of that, I still see importance in a good routine & sticking to it comfortably. I have a good understanding of nutrition for all age groups. With years of personal experience in a kitchen & on the job, it has allowed me to be well rounded in making many dishes for all 3 mealtimes with the ability to be versatile to needs! I actively try to practice being the best version of myself I can be daily and hope to be a good role model within my career and personal life. While still being confident in my abilities, I know learning is something that will always have a place in my work life & to understand the importance of safe, reliable childcare is to be kept sight of.
