Hello ! My name is Lamara a 22 year old female. I am an honest, kind, and open person who has a soft spot working with children. I am born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and have some experience looking over small kids, notably my cousins when they were young. I am the youngest of 2 siblings but make food and clean our house regularly due to my free time. I also have experience working as a line cook at Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse. I am very attentive to detail and am responsible and mature following schedules and organization skills. I will be graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors in Sociology and will be attaining another degree in Education also from the University of Calgary next Fall. I currently possess certification of Level 1 Early Childhood Educator. Although I have limited experience as of now and am active in my job search, I am very keen on gaining some more experience. I have open availability but unable to work nights, past 8:30pm, but am very negotiable on working things out ! I have experience working with kids, notably my younger cousins, as well as cooking and cleaning the house as a youngest sibling of 2 due to my open availability. I have a Level 1 Certification regarding Early Childhood Educator. I have a bachelors degree in Sociology which I will be graduating with this coming June from the University of Calgary. I will also be attaining an Education degree the following year from the University of Calgary as well. I have a soft spot for kids and will love to be given the opportunity to gain more learning experience as well as assist parents/families.

I am 43 years old, a mother of 2 kids and a grandmother as well. I am a nurse by profession and have worked as a pediatric nurse in the Middle East for 10 years. I am a family-oriented mother, and believes in proper discipline and well guidance of the children's well-being, and ensures a safety environment for children. I am very passionate in everything that I do, reliable, dependable and trustworthy. I am open to learning and and deals everything in life positively. I have worked as a pediatric nurse for a total of 12 years and I personally took care of my two children in their young age. I also took care of my grandson from newborn and now in his toddler age. Just like how I am caring for my children and my family and apart from professionally being a nurse, I wish to extend the same way of love and care to the children that I will be taking care of, with boundaries as per families arrangements. Salam! i am a muslim highschool student coming from a family of 8 who is eager to create new connections and shape minds of little ones! this semester i took on a role of helping out a first year teacher with her chemistry 20 class. the bunch was an older group than i’m used to but it went very well! my usual area of work is with children aged from 3-10 years old. my work experience with children goes back more than 4 years where i started as a volunteer with MAC Calgary for events titled story time and games night. this included teaching children about islam and performing arts and crafts, sports activities, and supervising through out the whole day. during the summers of 2022 and 2023 i worked as a camp councillor where i carried out all the same responsibilities, but with a groups of 30 campers aged 7-9. I am a middle eastern, born and raised in Canada. I live with my mom and 4 sidling's. I am currently in school, working towards a business degree. My hobbies are playing soccer, spending time with my frailly, travelling, and working on my car. I am a good listener, and have a lot of patience when it comes to kids. I have worked on my communication skills with kids through the 5 years of experience. I have been babysitting after school for the past five years. I was able to take care of 2 children at a time. My responsibilities included ensuring a safe environment, preparing and giving meals, bathing and dressing children, administering medicine, doing housework, and tutoring the children.
