Hello, my name is Karla (she/her). I am 26 years old and living in Cochrane, AB. My career is in forestry, therefore, I work in the forests surrounding Cochrane during the summer and fall. However, the snow and cold weather provide me with some time off during the winter. To keep busy, I would like to offer my help to a local family in Cochrane. I can help with regular household management (cleaning, cooking, etc), errands or pick-up/drop-up (I have a personal vehicle), spending time with and watching children, and any other tasks. Essentially, I hope to make a family's winter a little easier while staying financially stable until I can return to work in the spring (late April - early May). A little more about me, I'm originally from Manitoba but moved to Alberta for work. I studied Environmental Science in university, and have been working in forestry and the environment for several years. My hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, I enjoy fitness and yoga, as well as reading, photography, and cooking.

I, unfortunately, do not have experience as a nanny. I babysat quite a bit in high school. The children were typically above the age of three.
