I’m a mother of three grown up children( a dentist, a journalist, and a dental hygienist), love being around children and share experiences with them. The children and I manage to bond quickly on multi levels. They call me “warm” for the endless care I provide. I love reading, hiking, and cooking. My daughter and I love exchanging recipes all the time. I’m soft spoken, easy to approach and very gentle on correcting behaviour. It has been more than 20 years in the field and it has been a pleasure to see the children come back after a few years to say HI. I am the mother of an incredible son, Lewis, who is 11 years old. I am a kid-at-heart and children pick up on it immediately and enjoy that I enjoy playing with them. My program on Sundays at the elementary school was designed for children 0-6 to get them used to the school and interacting with others. The parents attending my program were thrilled to see me interact so closely with the children and respected my ways of re-directing and communicating with patience when the children would not want to share or what not. I truly enjoy working with children and look forward to further roles where I can learn and teach children in my area, and assist there parents. I have many references and an extensive background with childcare. I assisted a family from India with their 3 children while they were working at their restaurant. I took the children on outings and provided meals to them. I also operated a program at Holycross Elementary where I would open the school gym to the public on Sundays to families with children 6 years and younger. When the pandemic happened we stopped the program, but I had been running it for 5 years prior to that. I am asked by my family, and friends, to have there kids over all the time! I am a kid at heart, and children pick up on it immediately!

My name is Taylor and I have a background in working with kids of all ages. My job background with kids is extensive in both volunteering and paid work experience. As a vibrant and mature 19-year-old individual, I am looking forward to starting my nursing training next year. It's been a life-long dream of mine to delve into this rewarding profession and with a new year coming up, I am eager to pursue this ambition. However, during my year off, before I formally dive into the vast world of nursing, I would love to embrace the opportunity of pursuing a babysitting job. The whole universe of kids, their love to learn new things have always intrigued me. As much as it is a matter of responsibility, for me, babysitting has also been one of my core interests that I genuinely enjoy. Being around kids, looking after them, nurturing them in their growing years, and learning from them as equally, excites me immensely. This desire isn't rooted solely in interest or passion, I also have years of hands-on experience in this field. My experiences have furnished me with a considerable understanding of kids of all age groups, their needs, their pace of learning and more importantly, their safety.
