I'm a university student doing a lot of my coursework online, so I'm living permanently in the area. I have my entire family here, a majority of which are much younger than I - so I have experience in looking after children from a very young age myself. I love History (which is my major), and English - I also love to read, knit and crochet, learning languages and hobbies (currently attempting skateboarding!). I am very engaging and love children - when I babysit, I try to make all interactions either fun or educational - or fun and educational! It can be scary trusting another person with the care of your child, but I'm dedicated to providing the best care I can give under the guidance of the child's guardian, knowing I am responsible for their well-being during my time there. Just as an aside, however, I'm allergic to many pet furs/have a phobia of others :(

I have babysat for employment, two children aged 6-14. I also am an older sister to a 10 year old and a very involved aunt to toddlers, so I have experience in helping Moms with their babies, helping with housework while watching children, teaching child curriculum/helping children read or do their assignments. I am a university student, so i find being a little closer in age while still being older helps me communicate more with children.
