I am a 32 yr old female. I was born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario. I graduated from Personal Support Worker Program in 2009 and Dementia Studies in 2015.. I have worked in a long-term care facilities and home care. I have gain great experience such as assisting residents with activities of daily living, encourage independence, proper use of mechanical lifts for toileting and transferring residents and monthly vitals. I have experience caring for residents that are Palliative and with Dementia. I have met and learned so many things from many of the people I cared for. I enjoy taking care and helping out the elderly, it’s wonderful to know you have made someone happy by doing the smallest thing. I enjoy being a Personal Support Worker. I am self-motivated and a hard working person. I am able to work as a team as well as unsupervised. I am always willing to help out. I learn very quickly and move from one duty to another with minimum training. I am always ready to face new challenges and talk on assigned responsibilities. I will be relocating to Point Des Cascade with my boyfriend, as he been living here for many years. I enjoyed going for walks, enjoying the outdoors, listen to music, watching hockey, shopping, and most importantly spending time with my family and friends. I have babysat since I was 13. I was a live-in nanny for 3 girls during the summer of 2002. In 2004-2006 I went to Atlanta, GA with Au Pair in America to be a live in nanny. I took care a little girl but the family had moved so went with another family and cared for 3 boys.
