Hello parents, My name is Ocean I am 28 and first time mom. Before becoming a mama to my beautiful boy I was a retail sales associate and nannied 9 week old twins. Currently I am planning my wedding and looking to work part time for a couple families to help with the big cost of all the wedding things. I have experience with all ages and feel comfortable and confident with any age as well. Children are my passion and I love seeing them grow and develop through play and exploration. I am happy to work in an environment with animals. I have CPR and first aid. I also have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. I am the oldest of all my siblings so naturally, I was the built-in babysitter by age 12. In high school I had the opportunity to volunteer in a grade 2 classroom and was able to help all the kids practice reading and I writing as well as one on one testing. I was an overnight nanny for a family with a 6-year-old boy with many mental/physical disabilities. Some duties included administering feeds and meds via g-tube, preparing feeds and meds for the following days, getting the child ready for bed and ready for the day the following morning. I also did light house cleaning, laundry and meal prep. I worked in a daycare setting for a year before it closed permanently, and then moved to Edmonton. Since moving I have nannied for a handful of twin mamas. In June 2023 I became a mom and am learning even more everyday.

I am a certified level one early childhood educator and currently working towards my level two certification through Lethbridge college online
