Hi parents! I am a nanny with 8 years experience working with children, looking for part time/occasional work in the Vancouver West Side area, preferably close to Kits Beach area. I would love to meet up with your family and discuss an arrangement! I am passionate about creating a safe space for children, encouraging kids to be themselves and learn through play/exploration. I grew up on the the Sunshine Coast and moved to Vancouver Island for school and have since moved back to the coast. I really enjoy working with children and finding activities that interest the child. I like spending time outdoors, going for hikes or spending time at the beach. I have my full drivers license and emergency child care and CPR level B. I currently work at Sunshine Coast community services as a youth worker. I will be leaving this position at the end of June as my contract is over and I will be moving early September. I have been at Community Services for a year and a half. Hello, my name is Tawny and I am 24 years old. Recently, I decided to pursue a career in childcare, something that had always been a dream of mine when I was younger. However, it was cast aside and forgotten until now. I've always loved kids and hope to have my own someday. Additionally, I'm an animal lover and have had many different pets in the past. My hobbies include reading, collecting plants, watching movies, and playing games. I'm a homebody, but I love to go on walks and enjoy some fresh air. I got a non babysitting job with more consistent hours as I was trying to start saving for my future. I babysat since then for friends and family members but hadn't actually thought to get into it as a career until now. Currently working on the responsible adult course and looking to get my ECE.
