I am a student who grew up babysitting my nephews and nieces. These experiences has taught me great gentle-parenting skills and has also taught me how to take care and be patient with children regardless of their personality. I am also an active volunteer at Langley Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization where I lead a group of boys and girls in the 6th grade. As a mentor, I set up activities for the children to enjoy and learn from. Through these activities, I explain the importance of their voice, confidence, kindness and other essential values, which I think is very important to have as they progress through life and face more difficulties. Most importantly, I always show to be extra approachable and friendly to show that I can be their friend whom they can trust and talk to whenever they want.

I have great professional experience interacting and playing with children ages 6 to 12. My experience includes setting up activities for them to play and have fun on. I also have experience babysitting a 2-year-old boy. As part of my responsibility, I take care of him on weekends for at least 6 hours and sometimes for a few hours after day care on the weekdays. I make sure he eats his food and also changes his diapers. We sometimes go outside for a walk and sometimes play on the playground too.
