I come from a big family where kids were always running and playing around so children have always been part of my life. I have been a full time nanny for the past 10 years, traveling with the same family all around the world for 8 years. I will be leaving my current position mid September to move back home and settle down and would love to find a new family to help in Montreal comes October. I am creative and enjoy the presence of kids of all ages. I believe that what kids need most is an environment where they feel safe and loved. I strive to gently help children become more independent and secure no matter what their age is. Children are intelligent and curious and gain a lot by exploring and taking their time to learn new things. I like to create a safe environment for them to do just that, by taking them to the park, to the library, around the neighborhood, or simply to make art or play with their toys at home. I am a peaceful person and like to let the children guide the day while offering different activities suited to their age and keeping up with the schedule. Every child is different and I believe that with love and patience, creativity and caring, any child can blossom and grow to be happy and confident.
