My love and passion for children have been ingrained in me from a young age. Growing up in a big family, I developed a deep connection with children and found immense joy in spending time with younger siblings, cousins, and family friends. Creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere where children feel valued and understood has always been a priority for me. Additionally, I have a fondness for pets, which further adds to my nurturing nature and ability to care for others. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Montreal, where I developed a deep appreciation for research and education. Following my undergraduate studies, I immersed myself in the world of scientific inquiry as a lab technician, where I had the privilege of supervising summer interns, master's, and Ph.D. students. In this role, I provided guidance and support, ensuring that projects progressed smoothly and students gained valuable research experience. Driven by my love for education and desire to inspire future generations, I embarked on a Ph.D. journey in Biomedical Engineering at UDEM. Throughout my academic career, I have remained deeply committed to passing down knowledge and supporting others in their educational endeavours. This commitment led me to volunteer as a French tutor for children with difficulties during my last year of CEGEP. My sensitivity to literature and language, coupled with my dedication to helping others, made this experience immensely rewarding. During my last year of university, I served as a mentor for new students through Projet AMI at UDEM. In the challenging landscape of virtual learning in 2020, I provided guidance and support to students struggling to adapt to university life. Additionally, I currently lead the research department for the Quebec Black Medical Association, where I develop programs aimed at empowering youth from underserved communities to explore careers in science. While my direct babysitting experience may be limited, I believe that my background in mentoring and tutoring equips me with the skills and empathy necessary to provide exceptional care for your child(ren).
