Hi everyone! My name is Jordan (also go by Jordanya 😊), and I am a 26 year old childcare professional and ESL teacher. I have been working with children for almost a decade now, and I have experience both teaching and nannying for families in 3 countries. Currently, I am looking for afternoon/evening and overnight shifts. I am CPR and First Aid certified for infants, children, and adults, and I can provide background clearance certificates. I am also fully comfortable with meal prep and light housekeeping, depending on what we have negotiated. Beyond that, I do have a decade of pet sitting and dog walking experience, so I am also able to take care of any animals in the home as well. As the oldest of four kids, I have a lot of experience working with children. As I grew into my early twenties babysitting turned into more formal nannying positions. I have experience with newborns all the way to teenagers, but I have the most amount of experience with newborns, babies, and toddlers. My last family included a newborn, an 18 month old, and a 3 year old, so I am always up for a challenge. Learning to read, potty training, language development, bottles, baths — I have done it all. As a nanny, I am kind, creative, fun-loving, and organized. I love building relationships with and fostering the interests of the kids I work for. I also have worked with children teaching English as a foreign language in Moscow, Russia. I worked with children as young as three and into the teenage years. Though I worked in many schools around the city, my main placement was with a prestigious kindergarten where I worked with 3-8 year olds. As a teacher, I love to encourage learning through play, crafts, and science projects.
