My name is Vanessa, and I'm a 22-year-old recent UBC graduate. I've just moved back to Vancouver to be closer to my soon-to-be husband's family (getting married as of June 2024) and am looking for a full-time nanny while I finish a part-time graduate certificate program. I am also looking for work within my desired field. I love to go for walks and hikes, spend time with my family and friends exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and watch soccer! I am responsible, patient and caring. I provide one-on-one educational play and facilitate independent play for the children I care for, matching the child's enthusiasm! Along with my extensive childcare experience, my hobbies include language learning and thus, I speak intermediate French and beginner Spanish as well. I have CPR-C training and my own transportation. I am skilled at bottles, diaper changing, feeding, nighttime and naptime, bathtime as well as light housework, chores and pet care for dogs (unfortunately I am allergic to cats). I am CPR-C certified, have conducted a criminal record check, and have a vehicle. I can take care of up to two children and have the most experience with children aged 6 months to 4 years old.
