I'm Raquel. I am 18 years old and currently taking a gap year from university to further widen my experience and figure out my interests a little more. I am venezuelan and speak spanish thanks to my loving parents who never let me lose the language! I absolutely adore nature, animals and kids and are definitely the top things that never fail to keep a smile on my face:) I enjoy playing sports and going to the gym in my spare time, keeping in check with my health both mentally and physically are very important to me. I am determined, responsible, outgoing and care deeply about the things that matter to me.

I have different experience working with children! Even though I only started taking care of others children 3 years ago, I have taken care of my younger family members for over 8 years! With my experience working outside of home and comfort, I started off babysitting after getting a job off of a similar website. For my first job it was caring for a 6 year old and only lasted about 3 months as they no longer required services. Once I got a new job off the same site I was with them for about a year. I was caring for a 9 month old, 12 year old and 10 year old twins. I grew to be very close to them and care for them as much as I would a family member. My duties included, diaper changing, picking up kids from school, taking them out to the neighborhood park, engage in homework and activities, light house cleaning and light food making. It was truly a great experience and grew my love for working with kids. Once I started getting into the tougher season of high school I unfortunately could only babysit on their parents occasional night out. Things eventually worked out and they were able to go back to the care of their grandma. I started to look for a full time job once things settled and worked for a kids indoor playground in oakville. I adored seeing kids have a blast and get to be there for their special birthday parties. Ive learned a lot from working with kids and would love to continue:)
