Hello, I'm Nancy, a 36-year-old nurturing and dedicated individual from Oakville. I come from a rich academic foundation with a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science, and certifications in nutrition, plus, a social service worker diploma from Humber College. At the moment, I'm pursuing an Indigenous Social Work bachelor's degree from Laurentian University. Above my academic pursuits, being a devoted mother to my 12-year-old daughter has been my most fulfilling role.
Over the past year, I've served as a relief trauma counsellor at a women's shelter where I've had opportunities to interact with children from vulnerable backgrounds. This, coupled with my motherly instincts, equips me with the competence to provide a safe and loving environment for your children.
I’m available for part-time roles, ideally on weekday mornings. Being adept at different tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation for the kids, doing children's laundry, ironing their clothes, keeping the kitchen tidy and even organizing and planning events, I offer my assistance to lessen your burden and maintain a clean and healthy environment at your home.
I have no preferences regarding ages, as I’m comfortable working with toddlers, pre-school children, and grade-school students. However, I find it more effective to focus on the welfare and development of one child at a time.
I am open to a variety of job roles like a Mother's Helper, Babysitter, Nanny, Nanny/Tutor, or a Nanny/Housekeeper. My endeavor is to be part of an environment that cultivates learning and growth for children.
I am looking forward to giving my best to assist your family.
I'm a mother of a 12-year-old daughter and I work as a relief Trauma counsellor for women fleeing domestic violence and their children. Although my expertise is not specific to children, I believe my rich background and work expertise can assist me in providing ethical childcare while complying with the parents' instructions and values.
