I'm Lisa, a warm-hearted and diligent mom of two, new to the Okotoks area. With 20 years of experience in child care, I am confident and equipped to handle a range of situations. Whether your child needs extra attention due to conditions like ADHD, autism, anxiety, or cerebral palsy, or just a hand to hold as they navigate their journey, I am prepared to provide a safe, nurturing environment. Available during school hours from Monday to Thursday, I'm seeking a part-time nanny or special needs care provider position, which could also include light housekeeping, meal preparation or transport duties (I have my Class 4 license). I am more than willing to accommodate unique dietary needs of your little ones. Also, I am most comfortable working in a Live-Out arrangement, managing care for up to two children. I appreciate the special, often sensitive, dynamics of each child's development, having experience with all ages from newborn to over 10 years old. Moreover, I keep safety a top priority, certified in both First Aid and CPR, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Prior to having my own children (10 years ago), I have worked in a variety of settings that are each a wonderful compliment to caring for your child(ren). I have worked as an Educational Assistant for the Calgary Board of Education (CBE); as a respite worker and community aide for both elementary aged children, teens and adults with disabilities; child care for a 4 month old baby (for approx. 6 months); and of course have raised my own children.
