I am looking for reliable work from Monday-Friday. I love working with children as there is so much you can learn from them as they grow and become individuals. I went to school for Child and Youth Work and I have worked in the field for the past 10 years. I have a 5 year old daughter of my own and love being a mother, hence why I enjoy being a nanny so much! I worked at a group home for youth with brain based disabilities and provided care for all aspects of their daily living. I also received a lot of experience during my placements for school where I worked in the school system helping children with behavioral issues and spent a summer helping at a homeless youth shelter. I was a yoga specialist at Camp Eden and did all of the yoga programming for the entire camp. I am trained to deal with crisis situations and to provide all of the basic needs your children will have, as well as providing them with genuine emotional and mental support. I went to school at Durham College and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work. I am also a Certified Yoga and Meditation Instructor.

Hello my name is Kyanna and I have recently received my bachelors degree in Music Therapy at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. I currently work for the Peel District School Board as an EA. I work with kindergarten children who have ASD. Throughout the years I have had many teaching jobs working with children. Jobs such as teaching piano, being a teacher’s assistant, a lunchroom supervisor and a camp councillor to name a few.
