I was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland and I enjoy cooking, baking and painting. I’m Caroline, I have previously worked with a family as a Nanny/House Manager and I absolutely loved it. My duties included but were not limited to caring for a 7 and 10 year old, cooking lunches and dinners, housekeeping, school pickup/drop off and grocery shopping. I have an RNC criminal record check and vulnerable sector check along with an up to date First Aid and CPR certificate. I also have my drivers license and my own vehicle which is in excellent condition. A bit about me: I am 28 years old and I have been working on a degree in Psychology for the past few years. I have decided that it’s time to move to part-time studies from now on as I have a strong desire to join the work force full time to develop my skills. I should also mention that I have finished the Preschool Orientation course with AECENL. When I’m with children I am all about engaging them in fun but enriching activities such as sports, baking cookies from scratch or making homemade play dough, because I think it is so important to go beyond the iPad and help them develop in so many ways with limited use of electronics.

I do not simply cater to their needs; instead, I think it's essential to connect, communicate and create an environment where they feel safe and happy. Apart from that, I take gratification in making a clean and harmonious environment. Inot only find the act of cleaning therapeutic but also view it as an essential part of providing a healthy living condition. Therefore, you will often find me ensuring the surroundings are tidy and clean, making sure I am contributing positively to the overall welfare of everyone around. Moreover, along with my growing love for children, I find myself equally enchanted with animals. My affection for them fades for no reason, rather it amplifies even more. Animal care is something I hold close to my heart, and their presence has never been an issue or a problem for me. Therefore, dealing with a household that has pets will never be an issue for me; instead, I would relish their company. Have looked after family children. first and foremost, I would prioritize their safety. I would make sure to create a safe environment and keeping a watchful eye on them at all times. Additionally, I would engage them in age-appropriate activities to keep them entertained and stimulated. This could include playing games, reading books, or even helping them with their homework if needed. I would also ensure they have nutritious meals and snacks and stick to their regular routines, such as nap times and bedtime. Lastly, I would be patient, kind, and attentive, making sure to address their needs and provide a nurturing and supportive environment for them to thrive in.

I’m a high school student who loves children and dogs! I worked at a summer camp program over the summer of 2023 and an Easter camp program over Easter in 2024. i would love to get the chance to babysit/ nanny a child(children) or watch dogs or cats in my free time I was a camp consoler for the summer camp and for Easter camp June 2023-August 2023 and April 2024
