Hi, I'm Abbie, a passionate and dedicated nanny who absolutely loves working with children! Resident of Parksville, I've spent two years working full-time in a daycare while also devoting some of my evenings and weekends to babysitting. Working with children of all ages, from 1-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years, and even those over 10, I've always loved incorporating outdoor activities, sensory play, music, and adventures into our routine. I believe these activities greatly contribute to a child’s enthusiasm for learning and curiosity about the world around them. In addition, to ensure the smooth running of your home, I am also capable of performing household duties including cooking, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, help with homework, and even organizing and planning events. I am open to various living arrangements but prefer Live-Out roles. I am also very flexible with the kind of employment you need, from full-time to part-time. Ideally, I'd love to work with up to three children and build a nurturing relationship with them. Equipped with a Bachelor's Degree and Child Education Courses, I also hold other qualifications including a First Aid Training, CPR Training, and an ECA License. I'm proud to say that I have been verified with a police check. Having a driver's license and owning a vehicle allows me to easily transport the children for errands or outings. I'm a non-smoker who travels well and can swim, which means I can ensure fun and safety on days out at the beach or the pool. Despite my current full-time job, I'm quite flexible and available most evenings and mornings during the weekdays and evenings over the weekend.
