Hello Family, My name is Jennifer, I am 23 years old, and I have 3 years of international Au-Pair experience. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. My father is in the military and my mother is a teacher. I have one younger brother who works as a cook at a lodge in BC. I’ve always had a special love for younger children, and I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. When I was 13 years old I began to teach gymnastics, and did so for 6 years. I’ve coached all ages of children to adults, while at the same time training and competing competitively. I also taught Sunday school for 2 years at a Catholic church I was attending with my family. I went to Australia as an Au Pair for two years between 2012 and 2014, and I could have happily stayed much longer. I moved to Paris in 2016 for my second Au-Pair adventure, and spent ten months as the nanny to a 8 year old girl who loved to call me her "big sister" (she was an only child). In those three years I lived and worked with children between the ages of 13 months and 16 years. I’ve taken babies to swimming classes, 2 year olds to ballet and to the city for a day on the town (sometimes 3 at once. ). I’ve been the chauffeur and chaperone for a teenager’s dates, and so much more. I am a confident swimmer, driver, and I am very outgoing. I love people and I always look for the best in any situation. I take initiative when I see something that needs to be done, I take pride in my work, and I am happy to help with whatever is needed around the house. I strive every day to be a better person, I love to laugh, I am flexible, honest and hard working, and I am very committed to keeping a positive outlook and mindset. I am originally from England, I worked in retirement homes looking after the elderly. I also worked nights in a young disabled home which I loved. I had a sister who had Cerebal Palsy she was badly handicapped she was on peg feed, a suction machine and oxygen, I helped my mum look after her. I was married to a British guy for 19 years, he died of a massive stroke at 49. I met a Canadian man here in Pembroke Ontario and we married in December 2011. I have my status now and can work here.
