(Frenck follows) Social worker graduated in France in 2003, I have always had at heart the primary mission of the profession which is child protection. Since 2012 I have lived in Canada, first in Quebec, and we are now permanent residents. We are now in British Columbia, Kelowna, since June 2020. With my experience working in a daycare center during my studies in France, I worked in various family daycare centers when I arrived in Quebec, as well as during the first year. Then I decided to open my own daycare for 3 years. In constant collaboration with the parents (who were always welcome to spend time with us as much as they wanted), my employee and I were dedicated to the welfare of the children (mainly babies from 3 to 24 months), to the respect of their own pace and the positive and caring education that we could give them in all the activities offered. And this, until the birth of my 5th child, in 2016. Then, we traveled with our 5 children for 3 years, across Canada, theÉ United States, Europe. and decided to settle in Kelowna. Et ce, jusqu'à la naissance de mon 5ème enfant, en 2016. Par la suite, nous avons voyagé avec nos 5 enfants durant 3 ans, à travers le Canada, les États unis, l'Europe. et avons décidé de nous installer à Kelowna. My daycare was essentially based on alternative educational values, on respecting the needs of each child, and benevolence. Ecology was also at the heart of our priority, mainly wooden toys and games. The environment tended to be as healthy as possible. Our goal (to my employee and I) was to respect each child where he is in his development, in his sleep pattern, in his toilet training. I am also the mother of 5 children from 17 to 7 years old. Hi, I'm 18 years old and completing my first year of college in Penticton. I've recently moved to Penticton in August of 2023 from a small town in northern Alberta. I'm the oldest child and grandchild, leaving me responsible for siblings and cousins quite often. My parents both worked jobs that required them to be gone in the morning, I had to get myself and my siblings ready fro school most of my middle and highschool years. I also enjoyed playing volleyball in my free time, and any chance I got, I was outside with the animals, riding horses, feeding the goats, you name it.
