I am a mother of three, aged 57 yrs old, (my kids are young adults now), and I love to take care of kids of all ages. I have lots of love and experience with babies, toddlers, preschool kids, and also primary and high school students. I am a home-based educator, in private, for music, as well as all primary school subjects (French, Math, English). My main activity for the past 20 years was to be a private home educator, working with contracts. My interests are : education and development of children, music, languages, and volunteer work. My qualities are: passion for kids and education; I am reliable, honest, enthusiast, responsible, trustworthy. My hobbies are : walk in nature, swim, play music. My educational philosophy is based on positive parenting, non-violent communication, and kindness and respect for kids. I speak French and English and I have some basics in Portuguese.

I have been taking care of children, mine and others', since the age of 18. : My babysitting experience (including raising my three kids) is too vast to be enumerated here, so I choose a few pertinent work experiences : May to August 2018 : nanny for a one year-old toddler (aged 11 to 14 months), full time, night and day, 12 days per fortnight), at my home ( Montréal, QC) For the past 38 years : music teacher, kids of all age (1 year-old and up) For the past 22 years : teacher and private tutor for preschool and primary school (home based), and school support for kids with difficulties, & support in French for immigrants. 2015-2017 : dorm parent (night and day, 12 days out of 14) in an international boarding school for 46 kids aged 13 to 19. French and Music teacher; in charge of the industrial kitchen for week-end meals; responsible for the well-being and security of the youth; mentor. (Nancy Campbell Academy, Stratford, Ontario). 2013-2014 : part-time assistant in a family private daycare (Les Globetrotteurs, Longueuil, QC), helping with kitchen and house cleaning, musical animation, preschool curriculum in French, English, Math, Visual Arts, helping with outdoor activities. Other experience : Summer 2017 : Family Helper and Carer, for an Elderly lady, disabled. Personal Care, house chores, light cooking. (With the CLSC, Montréal, QC).
