I am 18 years old and live in Martensville Saskatchewan! I grew up here since grade 4 but I’m originally from Purdue Sask, which is where all of the family is from as well! I did competitive dance for 7 years and I hope to keep taking adult classes in the future since I’m very passionate about it:) teaching dance was so fun and being around all different kids was an experience I think everyone needs at some point in life! Learning how to properly talk to and take care of young children is a skill everyone should have! I have a family of 4 which includes my mom, my dad and my little sister Sydney! My sister has cerebral palsy so I grew up around disabled children and have experiences taking care of her since she was a baby. She is now 15 but I am still able to feed her with a G-tube and understand certain mannerisms and behaviours and what it means in order to help her feel content and safe always! Eventually I plan on going to university to study children’s psychology or speech pathology for youth, which shows just how passionate I am about these kiddos:)

I was a casual babysitter for 3 years when I was in grade 9 to grade 11 for multiple families with children ages to 4 months to 10 years of age! I did crafts with them, made supper/lunch, read to them, did homework with them, played outside, went to the park, put them to bed and cleaned up the house so it was tidy when the parents got home! I also taught littles dance for 2.5 years (2021-2023), which consisted of fun games, learning how to work with more than 4 children at once and how to get the attention of young ones who are excited to learn! These kiddos were from ages 4-10 and it was super fun watching them and getting to know all their personalities!

I am just about to graduate highschool and if it is important to the parents I am 100% willing to get more certifications to make them feel more safe with me:)
