Greetings! My name is Fiyin, and I hail from the beautiful country of Nigeria. I am an international student who has decided to pursue my higher education far away from my home. To introduce myself, I have spent quite a significant part of my life taking on varied roles, one such is a caregiver to children and another as an educator. My experiences thus far boil down to almost three long years, where I have juggled responsibilities and roles, switching between being a babysitter to a teacher.
As a caregiver, I have had hands-on experience with children of different ages across diverse settings. My nurturing instinct naturally stepped in and I learned to care for and understand their needs, tailor-made to their unique dispositions. As a teacher on the other hand, I learned to instruct and guide them academically, seeing to their intellectual development and progress. These experiences have not simply been jobs for me; but have been rather fulfilling, having had the opportunity to contribute positively towards the growth of these young kids in both personal and academic aspects.
Presently, I am a student at the reputable Saskatchewan Polytechnic, in Canada. Saskatchewan Polytechnic is well-renowned for its dedication towards equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their chosen fields. And it is here that I am delving deeper into the domain of early childhood education by pursuing a diploma program. My mission is to be professionally trained in this area, constantly adding value to my knowledge-base and skills, so that I may have a lasting impact on the young minds I guide, both as a teacher and a caregiver, in the future.
Worked as a home babysitter for a set of twins from birth till 2 years. I work as a Level 1 ECE so i can take care of three infants, five toddlers or ten preschoolers at once. I am a very caring and responsive caregiver.
